Many of the best work abroad opportunities are filled by recruiters who sometimes place workers into paid and volunteer positions. Here at Working Abroad Magazine we evaluate and recommend the top recruitment and placement organizations around the globe.
Not all staff recruitment organizations are created equal. One must beware of scams, of less than reputable organizations who don’t provide the jobs and services advertised!
To help you along in your job search we provide detailed profiles. Each one typically includes:
- Interviews with an official representative of the organization
- List of typical vacancies
- Job requirements
- Visa / Work Permit Requirements
- List of what’s included with the opportunity, e.g., pay, housing, meals, and so forth
- List of what’s not included
- And other details
The organizations profiled typically recruit for English language teacher jobs, hospitality work, contract work on cruise ships, tour guiding jobs, sports instructor positions, au pair jobs, and more.
If you would like to recommend an overseas recruiter please drop us a line! Our editors will consider the request, and may ultimately make a recommendation to our readers.
Whether you want to work or volunteer in the USA, Canada, Australia, or Argentina, there is a recruiter that may help you on your way. Through hard work and perseverance you may be able to get that coveted job without help from a third-party, but having a professional, reputable organization to fall back on – just in case – isn’t a bad thing.
Even though we have conducted considerable research, it’s always a grand idea to investigate organizations on your own a bit more.
Thank goodness for the Internet, right?
Get in touch with an organization that holds your interest. Ask a representative to answer whatever questions you may have pertaining to job placement, contracts, and so forth. Make no commitments in writing until you are wholly satisfied that the organization is one for which you’d like to work.
Recommendation: Get references if possible
We wish you all the best and hope you’ll contact us whilst on your work abroad adventure or after.
